How to get there

The stop closest to the conference venue is Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg. Here you can find your individual connections.

Lecture hall

Monday and Tuesday, all lectures and coffee breaks take place in lecture hall C03 in building 2321 (Schulz-Horner-Gebäude, department of chemistry), see the map below.
From Wednesday to Friday, lectures take place in lecture hall 03-428 in building 2413 (third floor, Institute for Computer Science). Coffee breaks are in the same building on fifth floor (Hilbertraum, 05-432). For discussions during the breaks, you can use the lecture halls, Hilbertraum or the seminar room next to it, 05-426.

Lunch options

There are the following options:

Dinner

The conference dinner takes place on Thursday, 21nd September starting at 19:30 at the restaurant Heiliggeist (Rentengasse 2, 55116 Mainz). We ask for a contribution of 15 Euros (in cash) which will be collected upon registration. This includes a three course menu (starter+pork/chicken/curry (vegan)+dessert), half a bottle of water and one further drink (a glass of wine or beer, for instance).

Hike

There will be a hike on Wednesday afternoon. We take the train from Mainz Hbf at 14:27 which will bring us to Bad Münster am Stein (15:05). From there we will hike back to Bad Kreuznach via `Rheingrafenstein' and `Gans'. There, we will have a stop at a Biergarten (Brauwerk) where you can also have dinner. It is very helpful to have some cash. From Bad Kreuznach there are several trains back to Mainz, roughly every 30 minutes. The price for the train ticket and a little ferry together is roughly 7 Euros. If you would like to join the hike, please sign up during registration. We will buy several group tickets, each for five people.
Here is a GPX file of the hike.
